What can we do to help the Wayanad victims long-term?
We are developing a long-term plan to assist the victims of the Wayanad landslide. The FruitsValley Farmers Producer Company (FPO) aims to purchase 10 acres of land and cultivate it with exotic fruits. This land will be given to the most deserving families, prioritizing widows, families who lost their earning members, and those with many children. This initiative aims to provide a sustainable livelihood and help these families rebuild their lives. As the contributions grow more, we can increase the 10 acres to multiple times.
Who are leading the Project?
Justice Kurian Joseph(Rtd Supreme Court Judge of India) is the patron of the FPO and the Charitable project. Adv Biju Parayanilam the Chairman, The Managing Director Mr Jomy Mathew a UN awardee for Pepper farming, Dr Mohan Thomas, Adv PT Chacko, Renjith Joseph and Joby Neendukunnel are the other board members.
